Neato Pictures teamed up with the Colorado Department of Transportation and Amelie Company to showcase bike safety from road riding laws to youth e-bike safety and awareness.
We pulled together a group of experienced road cyclists and eager teen e-bikers for filming that took us from the Boulder foothills to the city streets of Denver. From custom camera-car rigs to helmet cams and camera mounted pedicabs our DP had the tool to get the shot done. It was multiple days of rigging, riding and creative problem solving. We wrapped things up in post with some playful animated touches to bring the spots to life.
I love directing an action shoot and this one definitely delivered.
